CLEMSON UNIVERSITY?S DEPARTMENT OF PSYCHOLOGY invites applications for a tenure-track ASSISTANT PROFESSOR position and a non-tenure track LECTURER position beginning in Fall 2013.

We seek applicants for a full time tenure-track position at the ASSISTANT PROFESSOR level in INDUSTRIAL-ORGANIZATIONAL PSYCHOLOGY. Requirements include a Ph.D. in industrial-organizational psychology or related area, a strong research orientation with potential for extramural support, and a commitment to excellence in graduate and undergraduate education. Candidates with research interests in any area of I-O psychology will be considered. We seek applicants for a full-time, nine month, non-tenure track position of LECTURER, which has the potential for yearly renewal. The primary responsibility of this position is to teach undergraduate courses for our Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degree programs in Psychology. These courses may include, but are not limited to, Introduction to Psychology, Research Methods, and a senior capstone course. The lecturer may also have opportunities to advise/mentor psychology majors, to lead teams of undergraduate students in the conduct of research projects developed by the lecturer, and to utilize our department?s student participant pool for research purposes. The applicant will need to have completed a Ph.D. in Psychology by the time of appointment. A record of successful teaching experience in higher education is preferred.
