Job Description
The Moderator?s primary role is monitoring user generated content within the community channels to ensure compliance with company policies, terms and conditions. The Moderator is responsible for the provision of a safe, friendly and fun environment, and the education of the company?s community with regards to acceptable behaviour. The Moderator should enrich the experience by maintaining a visible online presence and by supporting and mentoring consumers.
? Monitor and review all user generated content such as text, video, audio and image content
? Monitoring all forums, editing/removing posts that are in breach of the community rules, reclassifying incorrectly posted content and moderating user accounts and behaviour
? Keeping up to date with all important company and product information
? Educating users on community rules and the acceptable use policy
? Maintaining a responsible online presence within all online community channels
? Report issues to MIS relating to in-game problems (server crashes, log in problems etc.)
? Moderate in game
? Review non-company websites for community feedback, information & keep aware of all Child Protection issues
? Read industry websites for the latest news
? Service community admin mailboxes
Online Presence
? Supporting the Community in all matters, on the network gaming service, Beta Forum, PDC Forum and MVP Forum
? Knowledge and awareness of online gaming and associated products
? Be aware of potential community issues
Moderator Required skills:
? Microsoft Suite
? Lotus Notes
? Experience of Lithium or other Bulletin Board/Forum products would be an advantage
? Knowledge and experience of online gaming an advantage
? Strong Communication Skills ? both verbally and written
? Fluent in French
? Good English (both oral and written)
? An ability to work with a team and gain their respect
? A high degree of professionalism
? A dedicated and flexible approach
? An interest in gaming and community
